Nature, history and the flavors of the Dolomites — all in one unforgettable day.
Join me for a special experience in the heart of the Dolomites, combining a visit to the breathtaking Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee) with a traditional cooking class inspired by the cuisine and culture of the region.

Our day begins with a two-hour guided visit to the famous Lake Braies, one of South Tyrol’s most iconic natural treasures. Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks, its crystal-clear waters and spectacular Alpine scenery create an atmosphere that feels almost unreal.
As we walk around the lake, I’ll share the fascinating legends of Braies, stories about its origins and some of the lesser-known facts from the history of this remarkable area. But Lake Braies is not only about beautiful landscapes and ancient legends.

After exploring the natural beauty and history of South Tyrol, we’ll move from landscapes to flavors.During a hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn how to prepare traditional Tyrolean dumplings (Knödel), discover the secrets behind local recipes and experience a little of everyday Alpine culture.
And, of course, we’ll sit down together afterwards to enjoy what we’ve prepared over a delicious homemade lunch.
Along the way, you’ll also discover the culture and traditions of the Ladin people, whose language and heritage have shaped life in the Dolomites for centuries.
This experience brings together spectacular landscapes, fascinating stories, local traditions and authentic flavors — a wonderful way to discover the Dolomites beyond the postcard views and experience a more personal side of the Alps.
